How to play Sudoku
Fill the 9×9 grid so that every row, column, and 3×3 box contains each number from 1 to 9 exactly once. Some numbers are given to start; use logic to work out the rest.
Controls
- Mouse or touch: click a cell, then choose a number
- Keyboard: type a number into a selected cell
Tips
- Look for rows, columns, or boxes that are almost full.
- If a number can only go in one place in a box, it must go there.
- Never guess — every puzzle can be solved by logic.
